Website moves forward, little else does.

I've made some changes to the main website. I still need to start adding a page of links to outside resources as well as loads of other things I have in mind. But at least it's no longer simply a "Coming Soon!!" page.
I am still waiting for the new survey of the property so that I can get started on the access road.
A bit of background is in probably in order. When I bought the property both the fellow selling, as well as the real estate agent -- as well as the fellow who did the original survey for that matter -- believed that the property was landlocked. I had looked in that same area two years previously and recalled that the entire region in question had been divided with easements around every 40 acres. Believing that this was likely still the case, and taking a risk that if it were not that I would still be able to buy an access easement off someone, I went ahead and bought the land.
This is not to say that there was NO access, only that the access that was provided by the boundary survey is completely impossible. For that reason I got the land at a much better price than I otherwise would have. Not 50% off, but not much higher.
So I started my research, spending days and days at the county offices, looking for the original deed. Without knowing the original name(s) associated with that original deed, the task was already going to be difficult. Having to look way back in the dusty books of ancient deeds proved way too time consuming.
Rather than give up, I consulted with a fellow who sells land in the area. Turns out he had a copy of that original deed. Armed with that copy I consulted a surveyor who promised to look into it. After some weeks, he called me and told me that they had redone the survey and all was right with the world. All that was left was to file it with the county and get back to me.
That's where I am today. Turns out that they only file at the country offices every few weeks and I will just have to wait. It's been almost a month. Hopefully this week will see some progress.
