Not much progress on the project per se (hence the lack of entries) but the missus and I spent the day in Madrid, NM looking at commercial properties on our quest for "Career 4.0: Shopkeeper".  (Almost sounds like a movie sequel doesn't it.  Speaking of which, why is it that the more lines they add to the title of a movie the worse it becomes? "Giant Snake 7: Attack of the Python.  This time it's personal")

But I digress.  We did find one we like quite a bit and we made an offer.  It looks promising and I will have more details later.

Let me quickly add a public service announcement:

DO NOT SPEND $13 FOR A QUESADILLA

The Mine Shaft Tavern in Madrid is one of our favorite spots.  However, the new owners are trying something a bit different.  Prices are up and old favorites are off the menu and I heard a rumor that they might reduce the music schedule.  I suspect, and hope, that when all this fails, they will go back to the former, successful model. We will see.
