Some small changes to the master plan

John Lorenz, whose work I hope to be able to show in the Galley sent me the following interpretation of the space itself:

Our pending purchase of the gallery is changing one small piece of the master plan.  Initially I was going to start by building a small casita on the property that would serve as home base while the rest of the house was being built.  Two things have changed.  The first is that we’ve happily decided that the house does not need a guestroom so it will not be considerably larger than the original plan for the casita.  The casita itself will also end up smaller and will not have it’s own kitchen – a fridge, toaster oven and coffee/tea station will suffice.

The second thing is the gallery: it has reasonable enough living quarters allowing it to be the home base while the house is built (and the gallery fixed up).

So now, the house will go in first on the property, the casita, afterwards.   Now the question is: when will the cantina go in (ah, that’s fodder for another post)
