Spent the past two days painting the interior of the new gallery/shop in Madrid and gathering local resources and contacts for the coming phases of the plan.  I now have an electrician for a redo of the service at the gallery and a fellow who will help with some of the more difficult outside painting.  I also have leads on a number of people who might help with the building of the house itself.

But in the meantime, I have some learning to do… For the next week and a bit, I will be down in southern Arizona at The Canelo Project taking a course on earth plasters and earthen floors and the like.  The photo on the left in the banner above is from a straw bale building class I took there last year.

There won’t be any posts for a while.
