The issue of whether or not I will be able to legally build on the 10 acre parcel has been resolved: according to the legal record, the creation of the 10 acre lot occurred in 1978, meaning that it has been grand-fathered in and is a “legal lot.”

The best part of this news is that I now have 2 legal lots meaning that should I ever want to sell one or both of them, they should be worth more than otherwise would have been the case had I merged them.

I had not been Counting on that.

But it pleases me.  Ha ha ha!
