Quick update on current projects and some news.

The Project:

Nothing has happened aside from getting the permits together. The lawsuit moves slowly with Arbitration scheduled for late February 2009 and the civil suit sometime thereafter. At this point it is anyone’s guess when, if ever, we get underway.

The Cabin:

Outside landscaping, the dog run, and other small projects making progress one day at a time. The new roof will commence in approximately 2 weeks and I will have to start work on winterizing the basement pretty soon since our nights have become quite chilly.

The House in Corrales:

We’ve dropped the price considerably and that has generated some interest but with the turmoil in financial markets, the election and the general unease out there, it looks like we will be selling it no time soon.

Some News:

I’ve been approached by a former colleague to join him at his hedge fund. I’ll essentially be going back to my old line of work, albeit I will be only part time and will be doing it from New Mexico. It’s a great offer and, assuming it all works out, it should be fun. But it is ironic in some ways: The name of the firm is “Armored Wolf”.
